What can a farm store in a MI-BOX container?
Implements and small equipment, sugaring gear, feed and bedding, seed and fertilizer, fencing and posts, tools, farm stand tables and crates, and anything else that needs to stay dry and locked. Note that MI-BOX containers are not refrigerated and are not suitable for livestock or perishable produce.
Can the container sit in a field or on a dirt drive?
Usually yes. Our Level-Lift system sets the container down level on grass, gravel and dirt, not just pavement. What we do need is a firm route in for the truck and enough overhead clearance. Deep mud and soft spring ground are the usual limits, so tell us about the access when you call and we will work out placement.
Do you offer short-term rentals?
Yes. Month-to-month rental suits a harvest push or a sugaring season as easily as a year-round arrangement, and there is no long contract to sign.
Can you move the container to another property?
Yes. If you farm more than one parcel we can move a loaded container between properties within our service area, or store it at our facility between seasons.
